Today, the Pinoy netizens lost a voice. R.A. 10175 is now a law and it seems the heaven’s crying with us for losing our freedom of expression. #NoToCyberCrimeLaw

Prayer Before The Crucifix

BEHOLD, O good and sweetest Jesus,
I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight,
and with the most fervent desire of my soul
I pray and beseech Thee

to impress upon my heart
lively sentiments of faith,
hope and charity,
with true repentance for my sins
and a most firm desire of amendment:
whilst with deep affection and grief of soul
I consider within myself
and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds,
having before mine eyes that which David, the prophet,
long ago spoke in Thine own person concerning Thee,
my Jesus: “They have pierced My hands and My feet,
they have numbered all My bones.”

I took this photo at dawn while waiting for the morning procession. I set my camera in bulb handheld thus the blurry effect. I enhanced the photo make it look like a painting using CS4 filters.

urban lomo-ish, originally uploaded by margeeness.

This photo which I took this afternoon is reminiscent of Manila during the ’80s. I edited the photo using CS4 to achieve a lomo-ish effect on this image. The red car is owned by our new neighbor which is just across our house.

This photo was taken in University of the Philippines, a premiere public school in the Philippines. I was struck with this road sign for three reasons:

1. It reminds me of some instances in my life where I’ve taken the wrong side just to get ahead of everybody.

2. It tells me that not everything that looks beautiful means it right.

3. This road sign can also be a detour, an adventure that brings spice to our life.
